Terms of Service
Last updated October 23, 2026
These terms govern your use of Open Solid, including opensolid.ai, the dashboard, the API and the MCP server (the "Service"). Open Solid is operated by Laso Finance LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account, or by claiming an account an agent created for you, you agree to these terms.
What Open Solid is
Open Solid is a technology platform that lets an AI agent hold and move money for a person who owns and controls the account. Open Solid is not a bank. Payments, cards, bank accounts and money transmission are provided by Laso Finance LLC, a FinCEN-registered money services business, and its regulated banking and card-issuing partners. Those services are also subject to the partners' own terms, which you accept when you use them.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
- Every account is owned by a person. You complete identity verification yourself; an agent can't do it for you.
- Keep your sign-in and API keys secure. Anyone holding an API key can act as your agent within your spend limit.
- Give us accurate information and keep it current.
Your agents
You are responsible for every action taken with your account, including actions an AI agent takes with an API key you created or approved. That's true even when the agent makes a mistake, misreads an instruction, or is manipulated by content it reads.
The controls we provide, including the per-payment spend limit, help you limit that risk. They don't remove it. Set a limit you're comfortable losing, review your activity, and revoke any key you no longer trust.
Funds and wallets
Your balance is held as USDC in server wallets on Base and Solana that we manage on your behalf. USDC is a stablecoin issued by a third party, not a bank deposit, and it is not insured by the FDIC. Blockchain transactions are final: a payment sent to the wrong address usually can't be recovered. You can withdraw unspent funds at any time, subject to network fees and any legal hold.
Fees
Fees are listed on our pricing page and are added on top of the payment, so the recipient gets the full amount. We may change fees with notice on the pricing page; the fee shown when a payment is made is the one that applies.
Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to:
- break any law, including sanctions, anti-money-laundering and consumer protection laws;
- pay for illegal goods or services, gambling, or anything prohibited by our partners' card network or banking rules;
- commit fraud, launder money, or move funds for someone else without authorization;
- interfere with the Service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or get around the spend limit or other controls, including by splitting payments.
We may refuse, hold or reverse a payment, or suspend an account, when we or our partners believe it's required by law or needed to prevent fraud or harm.
Suspension and closing
You can close your account at any time by withdrawing your funds and emailing us. We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms or that our partners can no longer serve. When we close an account, we'll return any remaining balance unless the law requires us to hold it.
Our service
We work to keep Open Solid available and accurate, but it depends on blockchains, wallet providers and payment partners we don't control. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. This includes losses caused by an AI agent's actions on your account. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $100. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the Service, your agents' actions, or your violation of these terms or the law.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new date and, for material changes, email account owners before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts in Travis County, Texas, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.
